I self-host NGemity’s infrastructure and a separate personal setup. Both use external services for public access.

Public access
NGemity uses cloudflared over a Gluetun VPN connection for public access.
The applications are self-hosted; connectivity still depends on external tunnel and VPN services.

A four-machine minilab

Selected services, through a VPS
A WireGuard tunnel connects the personal setup to a VPS, which routes a few selected services to the public.
This setup does not use cloudflared. The VPS is the external dependency for that access path.
